About Coconino Federal Credit Union

Founded in 1955, we are the only financial institution based in Coconino County!

We are a full service financial institution here to serve your banking needs! We are federally insured by the NCUA!

Unlike a bank, we are owned by our members (account holders) and governed by a volunteer board of directors (elected by our members). We are a not-for-profit cooperative, income is returned to our members through competitive savings (share) dividends, lower loan rates and lower fees. In short, we are a friendlier, less expensive and much better alternative to a bank. All the money we make goes back to the accountholders not stockholders!

Our membership is open to:

Important Information About Procedures For Opening A New Account

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
